Searching for Gorillas & The Big 5

This 14-day safari offers some of East Africa’s best animal experiences. The vacation begins with mountain gorilla trekking in Uganda’s equatorial rainforests before travelling to Lake Victoria – through Rwanda’s capital Kigali – and an exclusive lodge on Rubondo Island, home to chimpanzees and the tiny suni antelope as well as elephant and giraffe.

Then you fly to Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, which are savannahs. You’ll see the Big 5 and tens of thousands of wildebeest during Migration season. The excursion offers excellent possibilities to watch predators, smaller mammals, birds, and reptiles, and to photograph wildlife.

Flying eliminates long car trips. You’ll be received at airports and airstrips and aided with flights, arriving at camps ready to arrange with your hosts. Intimate tented camps with little more than 10 tents provide exceptional service and personalised attention on safari.

This vacation begins in Entebbe, Uganda, and ends in Arusha, Tanzania. It’s excellent for romantics, discriminating travellers, and those seeking East Africa’s ultimate bucket-list itinerary.
