Marine Conservation Safari

This one-of-a-kind Seychelles holiday encourages you to actively engage in marine conservation activities with the marine biologists at WiseOceans and the Marine Discovery Programme by Four Seasons. It is designed for tourists looking for a more meaningful experience. With initiatives to restore coral reefs and snorkelling tours that are instructive, this ethical itinerary will enable you to leave a lasting impression on Africa’s waters.

Take part in guided snorkelling excursions with the resort’s marine scientists or a WiseOceans project to restore coral reefs to learn more about the resort’s environmental activities. Back on dry ground, you may take part in a traditional Creole cooking lesson where one of the resort chefs will teach you the techniques of Creole cookery. Visitors may see young hawksbill turtles hatch on the beach and make their way into the sea from September to March.

Additionally, there are watersports, yoga, creole cooking workshops, and running trails at the resort.

A highlight of your trip will be learning about the breeding programme at the Aldabra Tortoise Sanctuary on the island. Other conservation efforts include snorkelling with marine scientists from WiseOceans to learn about the reef and marine species, going on guided nature walks with the Island Conservation Society and turtle nesting night hikes, and getting to know the marine educators at the resort’s Discovery Center.
