The Okavango Delta, one of Africa’s great wildlife regions, features a wide variety of ecosystems because of its eclectic combination of habitats. Classic African mammals like the lion, elephant, buffalo, and leopard, as well as aquatic species like the hippo and crocodile, have enormous populations.

The general game viewing is always excellent at any time of year, and the bird watching is exceptional. Take a relaxing mokoro ride to continue your exploration of the area, go bird watching, or embark on a guided nature walk. The Delta’s nocturnal species are beginning to get active, so go on another game drive in the late afternoon before returning home in the early evening.
